I am actively involved as an executive board member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, whose mission is to promote the health and well being of animals and the human-animal bond. I am also active in both the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

In my continuous pursuit of optimal patient care, I have consistently exceeded the annual Illinois continuing education requirements by attending local and national conferences. My involvement in veterinary organizations at the local, state, and national levels continues to strengthen and expand my network of colleagues in both general and specialty practice. This, in turn, keeps me informed of the latest medical developments, technologies, and treatments.

As a represetative of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, I have enjoyed appearing on NBC morning news and writing pet-related articles that have appeared in both the Chicago Sun-Times and the Pioneer Press newspapers. I have also worked on fundraisers such as the Chicago Dog Jog, which raises money for the pet-related expenses of those who are less fortunate.
